1. Product Development & Sampling Work closely with buyers and designers to understand product requirements. Develop samples based on buyer specifications and ensure timely submission. Coordinate with suppliers for fabric and trims sourcing. Ensure proper sample development, approval, and bulk production follow-up. 2. Order Management & Execution Manage the complete order process from development to shipment. Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) plans for each order. Follow up with suppliers, factories, and buyers to meet deadlines. Ensure fabric, accessories, and trims are received on time for production. 3. Price Negotiation & Costing Analyze fabric, trims, and production costs for competitive pricing. Negotiate prices with buyers and suppliers to ensure profitability. Prepare detailed costing sheets and ensure cost-effective production. 4. Production Coordination Monitor production progress and ensure it meets quality and timeline standards. Work closely with the factory team to resolve any production-related issues. Ensure proper communication between the factory, suppliers, and buyers. 5. Quality Control & Compliance Ensure that all garments meet buyer quality standards. Work with QA teams to conduct inline and final inspections. Ensure compliance with international labor and environmental standards. 6. Communication & Relationship Management Maintain strong relationships with buyers, factories, and vendors. Provide regular updates to buyers regarding order status. Solve any disputes or issues between production teams and buyers. 7. Shipment & Documentation Coordinate logistics and shipment schedules. Ensure proper documentation (LC, Invoice, Packing List, etc.) is completed. Follow up with shipping lines and clearing agents for smooth delivery. 8. Market Trend & Business Development Stay updated with fashion trends and new fabric/trim developments. Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to expand business. |
